सन for Plural
Plural Verbs with सन
सन after a verb marks a plain plural of children, animals or things.
How It Works
सन marks "more than one" on the verb. It fits children, animals and things. It is plain, not rude, but never use it for people you respect. Elders keep the usual -ें ending: बाबूजी आवत बाड़ें.
| Subject | Verb group |
|---|---|
| boys, animals, things | खेलत बाड़न सन |
| girls, female animals | चरत बाड़ी सन |
| past, boys or things | गइलन सन |
| past, girls | गइली सन |
Before सन the -न ending is the normal one. Elsewhere, write बाड़ें for respected men or plural subjects. Writers also put सन in essays and news, so you will meet it in print.
