How It Works

This expression links an earlier statement to its reason. The clause after کہ states the explanation, while اس refers back to the event or fact under discussion.

یہ points forward to the explanation that follows. وجہ is feminine, which explains کی. The complete following clause can keep its own subject and tense.

Use the expression when the reason deserves emphasis. A simple کیونکہ often connects the same ideas more briefly.
