لہٰذا
Drawing a Stated Conclusion
A stated reason → therefore, a conclusion.
How It Works
لہٰذا often connects clauses in formal prose. Read the earlier statement as the reason for the decision or inference that follows.
The next clause can state what happened, announce what will happen, or recommend an action. The connector does not choose the verb tense or mood.
Compare تاہم, which introduces a reservation or contrast. لہٰذا presents the next point as following from the previous one, even when a reader might disagree with that reasoning.

The two numbers are equal; therefore, the difference is zero.
The second statement follows from the first.

The necessary information was not received, so the decision was postponed.
The first clause explains a completed decision.

This route is under repair; therefore, please take another route.
A stated circumstance supports an instruction.
- وقت محدود ہے، لہٰذا ہمیں پہلے اہم نکات دیکھنے چاہییں۔
Time is limited, so we should consider the main points first.
