حتی اگر
Even if
Possible obstacle: باران ببارد → result still holds: میرویم.
How It Works
Keep the result. حتی اگر باران ببارد، میرویم includes possible rain without making the trip depend on dry weather. ببارد is the anticipated raining event and میرویم gives the planned going.
Locate negation. حتی اگر او نیاید، برنامه را شروع میکنیم keeps starting valid in the scenario of that person not coming. نیاید negates the condition, while شروع میکنیم remains affirmative.
Compare an accepted fact. با اینکه باران میبارد، میرویم presents rain as occurring. The حتی اگر version can leave it open. The contrast concerns the speaker’s commitment to the obstacle, rather than two interchangeable translations.
Keep other conditions separate. Saying that rain will not stop a trip does not claim that nothing could stop it. A later sentence might still mention a closed road or a changed plan. Read the stated scenario rather than expanding even if into an unlimited promise.
