quora
When
Quora asks when.
How It Works
Quora asks about time. The verb keeps its usual form: Quora arribas? (When do you arrive?), Quora trabalha Maria? (When does Maria work?).
The answer can be a day or a part of the day: Deman. Dimenge. The present tense also works for plans: Quora anatz a Tolosa? asks when you will go. It works with any verb: Quora manjatz? (When do you eat?) If the subject is a name, it can follow the verb, as in Quora trabalha Maria?
Do not mix it up with ont, which asks where. For a clock time ask A quina ora? A statement with "when" uses quand, which you learn later.
