pas res de
Nothing New
Add de and an adjective after pas res to say nothing new, nothing good, nothing interesting.
How It Works
| Occitan | English |
|---|---|
| pas res de novèl | nothing new |
| pas res de bon | nothing good |
| pas res d'interessant | nothing interesting |
| pas res de plan novèl | nothing very new |
Both novèl and nòu are listed for new, and print uses pas res de novèl.
The adjective never agrees with a noun, because there is no noun. It is always masculine singular, like novèl and bon.
Pas res de can also be followed by an infinitive: I a pas res de dire (There is nothing to say).
The pattern is the same with other verbs: Ai pas res de bon a manjar (I have nothing good to eat).
