колку што знам
As Far as I Know
Колку што знам = as far as I know: Колку што знам, тој е во Скопје. (As far as I know, he is in Skopje.) Колку што можам = as much as I can.
How It Works
Limiting what you claim. Put the phrase at the start and follow it with a comma:
- Колку што знам, продавницата е затворена во недела. (As far as I know, the shop is closed on Sunday.)
- Колку што се сеќавам, тоа беше во мај. (As far as I remember, it was in May.)
- Колку што гледам, сите се тука. (As far as I can see, everyone is here.)
A more formal version is колку што ми е познато (to my knowledge).
An amount. After the main clause, колку што means "as much as": Помагам колку што можам. (I help as much as I can.) Земи колку што сакаш. (Take as much as you want.)
The person. The verb shows whose knowledge it is: колку што знам (as far as I know), колку што знаеме (as far as we know), колку што таа знае (as far as she knows).
Related patterns. To say "as ... as possible", Macedonian uses што with a comparative: што побрзо (as fast as possible). Колку ... толку links two changing amounts. To show even more doubt about a claim, use наводно, изгледа or се чини.

Using the wrong person on the verb.
