секој / сите / сѐ
Each All and Everything
Секој = each or every (секој ден, every day). Сите = all or everyone (Сите дојдоа.). Сѐ = everything (Сѐ е во ред. Everything is fine.)
How It Works
Секој, секоја, секое — each, every. Before a noun it agrees in gender and is followed by a singular noun: секој ден, секоја недела, секое утро. On its own, секој means everyone and takes a singular verb: Секој може да помогне. The object form is секого.
Сите — all, everyone. It takes a plural noun and a plural verb: Сите студенти се тука. · Сите дојдоа. When сите is the object, it is doubled with a short pronoun: Ги поканив сите. (see удвојување со сите; секого).
Сѐ — everything. It takes a singular verb: Сѐ е во ред. · Сѐ разбрав. Always write the grave mark: сѐ (everything) and се (the little word in се мие) are different words (see ѐ; ѝ). You will also meet сѐ in сѐ уште (still, see веќе; сѐ уште; уште не).
Секој or сите? Both can mean everyone. The difference is the verb: Секој знае but Сите знаат.
The opposite of секој is никој (nobody), and the opposite of сѐ is ништо (nothing). See никој; ништо; никогаш + не.

Writing сѐ without its grave mark.
