мене / тебе / него / неа
Full Object Pronouns
After a preposition, use the full pronoun: за мене (for me), со него (with him). For emphasis, add it next to the short one: Мене ме бара. (It is me he is looking for.)
How It Works
Each personal pronoun has a short form and a full form:
- мене — ме / ми (me)
- тебе — те / ти (you)
- него — го / му (him, it)
- неа — ја / ѝ (her)
- нас — нѐ / ни (us)
- вас — ве / ви (you all, polite you)
- нив — ги / им (them)
1. After prepositions. Only the full form can follow a preposition: за мене, со тебе, кај него, од неа, без нас, со нив. The pronoun keeps this form with every preposition; see со; без and за + именка.
2. For emphasis or contrast. A full pronoun can stress who: Мене ме бара, не тебе. The short pronoun stays before the verb; the full one is added, never used instead of it. The same happens with to-someone pronouns: Тебе ти верувам. · На мене ми се допаѓа. More on contrast is in долги заменки за контраст.
Note: него means both him and it for masculine and neuter nouns. Separate full to-someone forms (нему, нејзе, нам, вам, ним) also exist and are still correct, mostly in writing. Everyday speech usually says на него, на неа, на нас, на вас, на нив.

Common Mistakes
Using a short pronoun after a preposition.
Одам со го.Одам со него.Short pronouns only lean on verbs. After со, за, од, кај and other prepositions, use the full form.
Using the full pronoun alone as the object of a verb.
Видов неа вчера.Ја видов неа вчера.A full pronoun as an object must be doubled by the short one. Without the emphasis, just say Ја видов вчера.
