किहिस / दिहिस / लिहिस

Did, Gave and Took

Level 2Sounds Like kihisa, dihisa a'ura lihisa

करब, देब and लेब change their stem in the past.

How It Works

Verbऊऊ लोगहमतुम
करबकिहिसकिहिनकिहेनकिहेव
देबदिहिसदिहिनदिहेनदिहेव
लेबलिहिसलिहिनलिहेनलिहेव

The endings are the ones you already know: -इस, -इन, -एन, -एव. Only the stem changes.

All three are very common. They also work as helpers in a joined verb: करि दिहिस (did it fully), खाइ लिहिस (ate it). Do not say करिस, देइस or लेइस.
