हमार
My and Our: हमार
हमार means my or our.
How It Works
हमार is the word for my and our, the same way हम is for I and we.
| Phrase | Meaning |
|---|---|
| हमार नाँव | my name |
| हमार अम्मा | my mother |
| हमार किताब | my book |
It stays the same for masculine and feminine, singular and plural, in central speech.
When a postposition follows the noun, हमार becomes हमरे: हमरे घर मा (in my house), हमरे संग (with me).
The matching words for the other persons are तुम्हार (your, with तुम) and तोहार (your, with तू). For he and she, use ओकर.
