کوئی
Someone or an Unspecified Item
Leave the person or item unidentified.
How It Works
In باہر کوئی ہے, the unidentified participant is a person. In کوئی صاف کپڑا, کوئی instead modifies a singular item.
A postposition changes the form: کسی سے refers to an unspecified person in a phrase with سے. It is not formed by adding a suffix to کوئی.
کوئی alone does not mean nobody. A negative construction adds نہیں; بھی can add an any-at-all or free-choice meaning in a suitable context.
