بھی
Adding Also or Too
Find the word or phrase before بھی and use the conversation to work out what is being added.
How It Works
After someone says Ali is coming, سارا بھی آ رہی ہے adds Sara. بھی follows the added person.
If Sara is reading a magazine, سارا کتاب بھی پڑھ رہی ہے adds a book to the things she is reading.
میں آج بھی کام کرتا ہوں can mean I work today too. In a conversation comparing the past with the present, it can mean I still work. Context helps you choose the reading.
بھی does not take gender or number endings.
Examples (4)
