Putting an Adjective Before a Noun

Level 1

Read the adjective first, then the noun. A changing adjective takes its ending from the noun.

How It Works

گرم دودھ means hot milk. گرم comes before the noun.

نئی کتاب means a new book. نئی agrees with feminine کتاب.

تین بڑے کمرے means three large rooms. بڑے agrees with masculine plural کمرے.

With a postposition, keep the phrase together: چھوٹی دکان میں means in the small shop.
