Pronouns Before Postpositions
Learn a whole phrase such as مجھ سے to remember the pronoun’s form.
How It Works
In مجھ سے بات کیجیے, the first-person pronoun is مجھ. مجھے is a different object/experiencer form and does not replace مجھ before سے.
اس can refer to a nearby or distant singular item in writing. ان can refer to plural or respectful participants; the sentence supplies the reference.
تجھ belongs to the intimate or strongly marked تو form of address. Learn to recognize it, but choose آپ with an unfamiliar person. The subject marker نے has its own combinations, including میں نے.
