हमहूँ / ओहो

Me Too and Her Too

Level 2Sounds Like hamahūm̐ ā ōhō

Add -हूँ or -ओ to a pronoun to say too.

How It Works

PronounToo
हमहमहूँ
अहाँअहूँ
ओओहो
हमराहमरो
ओकराओकरो
हुनकाहुनको

Use the first group when the pronoun is the subject, and the second when it is the person who likes, knows or has: हमरो पानि चाही (I want water too).

For nouns, use सेहो after the word: राम सेहो आएल. Writing often says अहाँ सेहो instead of अहूँ; both are correct.

Hindi uses भी, as in हम भी. Maithili does not use it with pronouns.

Examples (5)
