मेरा नाम रीमा है means My name is Reema.

How It Works

To say your name, use मेरा नाम, then your name, then है: मेरा नाम अमित है (My name is Amit).

Men and women say it the same way. मेरा agrees with नाम, which is masculine. It does not agree with the speaker, so a woman also says मेरा नाम.

A first meeting often goes like this: नमस्ते, मेरा नाम प्रिया है। आपका नाम क्या है? The reply might be मेरा नाम राहुल है। आपसे मिलकर अच्छा लगा (Nice to meet you).
