The present has the long stem ყიდულობ-. The future and past use the short stem ყიდ- with ი- in front, and no preverb.

In the present and future, what you buy takes -ს: პურს ვყიდულობ. In the past it is in the nominative and the buyer takes -მა: ნინომ პური იყიდა.

With the preverb გა-, the same root means sell: გაყიდა (gaq'ida) (he sold).
