English uses go for all of these ideas. Georgian picks a different verb:
- სკოლაში მივდივარ. (I'm on my way to school.)
- სკოლაში დავდივარ. (I go to school; I'm a student.)
დავდივარ also means walking around with no single goal: საღამოს ქალაქში დავდივართ (in the evening we walk around town).
For buses and trains, დადის says where they run: ეს ავტობუსი აეროპორტში დადის? (Does this bus go to the airport?)
With ფეხით (on foot), it is the usual way to say walk: ფეხით დავდივარ (I walk, I go on foot).
