How It Works
Build the present perfect from the past participle and the short endings: رفته‌ام, رفته‌ای, رفته است, رفته‌ایم, رفته‌اید, رفته‌اند. Put تا حالا in front.

With هیچ‌وقت the verb is negative and the meaning is never: تا حالا هیچ‌وقت قهوه نخورده‌ام. (I have never had coffee.) Use ـای with a friend and ـاید with an older person or a stranger.
To say how many times, put the number before the verb: دو بار رفته‌ام (I have been twice). Dari says حالا for now, and تا حالا means up to now.
