Asking Where: कहाँ
कहाँ asks where, and कहाँ से asks where from.
How It Works
कहाँ means where. It sits where the place would be in the answer.
| Answer | Question |
|---|---|
A postposition can follow कहाँ: कहाँ से (from where), कहाँ तक (how far).
The answer words are इहाँ (here) and उहाँ (there). You can ask कहाँ with any person: तू, तुम or आप, as long as the helper matches.
