-ए अहै
Has Done: -ए अहै
The -ए form with अहै says that something is done and still matters now.
How It Works
| Who | has seen |
|---|---|
| हम | देखे अही |
| तुम | देखे हौ |
| ऊ | देखे अहै |
| ऊ (respect) | देखे अहैं |
The -ए form is the stem plus -ए: लिख gives लिखे, खा gives खाए, कर gives किहे. It does not change for gender.
It is the form used when the speaker has just done something or when the result is still true. ऊ चीठी लिखे अहै: the letter is written.
For a verb with no object, use the plain past with the helper: ऊ बजार गवा अहै (he has gone to the market). For earlier past, replace अहै with रहा.
