It is used for roles such as শিক্ষক “teacher”, পৰ্যটক “tourist” and মহিলা “woman”: নেহী এগৰাকী মহিলা “Nehi is a woman”.

In a sentence that says what someone is, the verb “is” is left out. ময়ো এগৰাকী শিক্ষক means “I am a teacher too”.
