بہت
Saying Very or a Lot
Read بہت with the adjective, noun or verb phrase it intensifies.
How It Works
چائے بہت گرم ہے means the tea is very hot. The adjective گرم does not change because of بہت.
میں بہت پانی پیتی ہوں says I drink a lot of water. The amount reading comes from the noun phrase.
With a verb, وہ بہت ہنستی ہے can mean she laughs a lot. The habitual form still agrees with the subject.
Use زیادہ when you need a comparison such as more; بہت simply gives a high degree or amount.
