-یں
Another Feminine Plural Pattern
Use this pattern for many consonant-ending feminine nouns, while learning exceptions with their noun.
How It Works
ایک کتاب becomes دو کتابیں.
راتیں لمبی ہیں means the nights are long. The plural noun takes ہیں.
In نئی سڑکیں, نئی agrees with the feminine plural noun سڑکیں.
Before a postposition, the direct plural ending changes: کتابیں becomes کتابوں. کتابوں میں means in the books.
Examples (4)
