ton, ta, tos, tas
Your (Singular)
Ton, ta, tos and tas mean your for one person, and they match the thing owned.
How It Works
These four forms work like mon, ma, mos and mas. The noun decides the form.
| Noun | Form | Example |
|---|---|---|
| masculine singular | ton | ton ostal (your house) |
| feminine singular | ta | ta sòrre (your sister) |
| masculine plural | tos | tos amics (your friends) |
| feminine plural | tas | tas amigas (your female friends) |
Use them with a person you call tu. With vos, or with several people, use vòstre and its family instead.
Write them with no article in front. Before a feminine noun that starts with a vowel, ton is the usual form instead of ta: ton idèa (your idea).
