बिना

Without

Level 2Sounds Like binā

बिना means without.

How It Works

PatternExample

Use it to describe a thing that lacks something, or an action done without it: (There is no life without water).

With a pronoun, use the object form: बिना हमरा (without me). A noun after a possessive still takes -क: बिना हमर मदतिक.

The written order, बिना first and -क on the noun, is the one to use at first. The spoken order after the noun is also common and correct.
