Saying Your Age
Macedonian says you have your years: (How old are you?) (I am twenty-five.)
How It Works
Asking.
- Колку години имаш? to a friend or child
- Колку години имате? to an adult you address politely, or to several people (see Informal and Polite You)
Answering. Use the forms of Saying What You Have:
Година is feminine. That matters for one and two: From three up the number does not change:
Bigger numbers. Tens and units are joined with (38). The full system is in Numbers Above Ten.
