The future forms look nothing like ვარ and არის, so learn them as a set. They all share -ქნებ- in the middle, and ვ- marks I and we as usual.

Use them for where someone will be and what something will be like: ხვალ სახლში ვიქნები (I'll be at home tomorrow), ამინდი კარგი იქნება (the weather will be good).

With polite თქვენ, use the plural: სად იქნებით? (Where will you be?)

    ვარ becomes ვიქნები.

    ხარ becomes იქნები.

    We'll be in Batumi on Saturday.

    ვართ becomes ვიქნებით.

  5. ბავშვები ბებიასთან იქნებიან.

    The children will be at grandma's.

    არიან becomes იქნებიან.
