The They Ending
In the present tense, verbs end in -ენ or -ან when the doer is they.
How It Works
| He, she | They |

| ცხოვრობს | ცხოვრობენ |
| თამაშობს | თამაშობენ |
| კითხულობს | კითხულობენ |

The first four verbs swap -ს for -ენ. The last four use -ან, and they are among the most frequent verbs in the language.
Two names joined by და take this form too: ნინო და გიორგი თბილისში ცხოვრობენ (Nino and Giorgi live in Tbilisi).
After a number the verb stays singular: სამი ბავშვი თამაშობს (three children are playing).
ისინი is often left out, since the ending already shows they: თბილისში ცხოვრობენ (they live in Tbilisi).
