How It Works

The singular pronouns stand in for a person or a thing that is already known.

lihea man or a boy
ŝishea woman or a girl
ĝiita thing or an animal

A pronoun replaces a name or a noun: Kenji estas studento. Li estas en Tokio. When a pronoun is the object, it takes -n (min, vin), which a later entry shows.
