за
For and About with За
За means "for": подарък за теб (a present for you). It also means "about": Говорим за филма (We are talking about the film).
How It Works
1. For a person or purpose. (This is for you.) (What is there for breakfast?) (Thanks for the help!)
2. About a topic. (We are talking about the film.) (I am thinking about you.)
3. Destination. With trains, buses and leaving: влакът за Бургас (the train to Burgas), Заминавам за София. (I am leaving for Sofia.)
4. Price and time. (I bought it for ten euros.) (I read the book in two days.) (I am going to the seaside for a week.)
5. Pronouns after за. Prepositions take the full object pronouns (see full object pronouns): за мен (or за мене), за теб (or за тебе), за него, за нея.
6. Not before a verb. To say "in order to" with a verb, use
