Months
The months are januar, februar, mart, april, maj, juni, juli, august, septembar, oktobar, novembar and decembar.
How It Works
The months in Bosnian look a lot like the English ones.
| 1 to 6 | 7 to 12 |
|---|---|
| januar | juli |
| februar | august |
| mart | septembar |
| april | oktobar |
| maj | novembar |
| juni | decembar |
All twelve are written with a small letter. Poppy uses these Latin-based names because they are the usual choice in Bosnian. Croatian uses a different set of names, so you may see other words when you read news from Zagreb.
To say in a month, use u with the locative ending: u januaru, u martu, u maju, u augustu, u oktobru. Most months simply add -u.
