ću pisati
Ću Before the Infinitive
The future can also be built as ću + the full infinitive, and this order is needed after a first word.
How It Works
The helper ću is a short word that wants to be second in the clause. If a word like sutra or ja comes first, the helper follows it and the full infinitive comes after: Sutra ću pisati.
| First word | Example |
|---|---|
| time | Sutra ćemo raditi. |
| pronoun | Ja ću kuhati. |
| question word | Šta ćeš raditi? |
Yes-no questions use the full form of htjeti with li: Hoćeš li doći? Hoće li pasti kiša?
Both orders, pisat ću and ću pisati, are good Bosnian. When the verb comes first, the usual form is pisat ću. When another word comes first, the usual form is ću pisati.
