का at the End of a Sentence
Yes or No Questions with का
Put का at the end of a sentence to ask yes or no.
How It Works
To turn a statement into a yes or no question, add का at the end.
| Statement | Question |
|---|---|
| तू आवत बाड़ऽ। | तू आवत बाड़ऽ का? |
| ऊ घरे बाड़ी। | ऊ घरे बाड़ी का? |
You can also leave का out and let the voice rise: तू आवत बाड़ऽ? Both are natural.
Do not confuse this का with the का that means what. The question का ends the sentence. The what-का sits before the verb.
Answer with हँ or ना. To say yes, I am, repeat the verb: हँ, आवत बानी.
