से for Comparing
Comparing with से
A, then B से, then an adjective, means A is more than B.
How It Works
You do not need a word for more. You only need से after the thing you compare against, and the adjective stays the same.
| Sentence | Meaning |
|---|---|
| राहुल अमित से लमहर बा। | Rahul is taller than Amit. |
| ई घर ओह घर से बड़ बा। | This house is bigger than that one. |
| हम तोहरा से छोट बानी। | I am younger than you. |
With a pronoun, use the oblique form before से: हमरा से, तोहरा से, रउरा से, ओकरा से.
To say the most, use सबसे before the adjective; that has its own lesson.
से has other uses too. It also means from, with a tool, by, and since: पटना से, कलम से, काल्ह से. The sentence tells you which one is meant.
