Level 3Sounds Like binā

बिना means without and takes के after its noun.

How It Works

बिना comes first, then the noun, then के: बिना चीनी के, बिना माई के, बिना टिकट के.

PhraseMeaning
बिना चीनी के चायtea without sugar
बिना चप्पल केwithout sandals
बिना माई के घरa home without mother

With a pronoun, the pronoun takes its oblique form: बिना हमरा के, बिना ओकरा के.

With a verb, use the -ले form: ऊ बिना बतवले चल गइल (He left without telling). This is the same form as in the perfect.

बिना can also stand alone in quick talk, but the के keeps the phrase clear.
