Put भा or चाहे between two choices.

How It Works

भा is a little more written, and चाहे is heard everywhere. Both fit a polite offer: चाय भा कॉफी?

चाहे is also used in pairs, to say whether this or that: चाहे चाय, चाहे कॉफी. That use has its own lesson.

Do not use आ (and) when you mean or. आ joins things together, and भा gives a choice between them.

Hindi uses या for or. Bhojpuri speakers rarely say it.
