গতিকে
So: গতিকে
আজি বৰষুণ দিছে, গতিকে আমি ঘৰতে থাকিম “it is raining today, so we will stay at home”.
How It Works
The two words can say the same thing from opposite sides.
| Order | Pattern |
|---|---|
| result first | আমি ঘৰতে থাকিম কাৰণ বৰষুণ দিছে |
| reason first | বৰষুণ দিছে, গতিকে আমি ঘৰতে থাকিম |
গতিকে can also open a sentence on its own when it points back at the sentence before: গতিকে আমি সোনকালে ঘৰলৈ গ’লোঁ “so we went home early”. It stays the same for every person and tense. The result part can be a command, as in গতিকে তাক আমনি নকৰিবাঁ “so do not disturb him”. It can also open a question about what comes next: গতিকে এতিয়া কি কৰিম? “so what shall we do now?”.
