কিন্তুbuttwo ideas that go against each otherমই যাম, কিন্তু তুমি নাযাবা “I will go, but you will not”

In ৰূপজ্যোতি আৰু জোনালী যাব “Rupjyoti and Jonali will go”, the verb follows both names.

In the middle of a sentence, a comma usually comes before কিন্তু, and কিন্তু can also start a new sentence. আৰু usually needs no comma. Both words keep their form in every sentence, so nothing changes for the person or the tense.
