Dative Experiencers
Some states use a dative experiencer rather than an English-style subject.
How It Works
Some states use a dative experiencer rather than an English-style subject. The form of biti or another predicate belongs to that construction, not to the experiencer's person.
Mraz mi je identifies the experiencer with mi while je remains third-person singular. Changing the person gives mraz ti je, not a second-person auxiliary. This differs from an ordinary adjective predicate such as Sem utrujen.
