s / z + Genitive
Coming from a Surface
S or z with the genitive expresses a source that often corresponds to na at a destination.
How It Works
S or z with the genitive expresses a source that often corresponds to na at a destination. The same preposition with instrumental instead expresses accompaniment or a means.
The case distinguishes z mize, from the table, from z mizo, with the table. For places using na, the origin frequently uses s/z: na pošto → s pošte. An origin from v instead commonly uses iz.
