Recovering Omitted Material Across Parallel Clauses
تو چای میخواهی + من قهوه [میخواهم].
How It Works
Recover the parallel action. In تو چای میخواهی و من قهوه, the second clause leaves wanting understood. Its expanded form is من قهوه میخواهم, with first singular ـم rather than the first clause’s ـی.
Recover from the preceding material. سارا این کتاب را خواند و رضا آن کتاب را leaves خواند recoverable in the second clause. Each object keeps را, so the missing verb does not make the second book a new subject.
Preserve an explicit negative contrast. برای سارا نامه نوشتم، نه برای رضا contrasts the recipients. The shorter negative phrase means the writing did not apply to Reza in that comparison; it does not negate the already asserted letter to Sara.
Do not invent an event. A fragment such as من قهوه outside a recoverable context might request coffee or serve another function. The written words alone do not authorize adding a particular tense, verb or source. Use the actual parallel clause or conversation.
