Adjectives That Do Not Change
Only adjectives that end in -ो change. The rest stay the same.
How It Works
Adjectives such as सुन्दर (beautiful) and नयाँ (new) do not end in -ो, so in everyday Nepali they do not change.

The same word is used for one thing or many: नयाँ किताब, नयाँ किताबहरू.
Compare an adjective that does end in -ो. ठूलो घर is a big house, but ठूला घरहरू is big houses. The last vowel changes there and does not change in सुन्दर.
When you meet a new adjective, check its last vowel. If it is -ो, change it with the noun. If it is anything else, leave it.

- ऊ सुन्दर केटी हो।
She is a beautiful girl.
सुन्दर stays the same before केटी.
- पोखरा सुन्दर ठाउँ हो।
Pokhara is a beautiful place.
सुन्दर also stays the same before ठाउँ.
- मेरो घर नयाँ छ।
My house is new.
नयाँ has one form.
- मसँग नयाँ किताबहरू छन्।
I have new books.
नयाँ stays the same before a plural noun.
- यी फूलहरू सुन्दर छन्।
These flowers are beautiful.
सुन्दर does not take a plural ending.
