הנושא ייבדק means the matter will be examined. The sentence focuses on what receives the examination and may leave the examiner unnamed.

How It Works

The Passive Subject

נבדוק את הנושא presents us as the examiners and the matter as the object. הנושא ייבדק presents the matter as the subject receiving the examination. The passive subject is the affected item.

The Actual Future Forms

הנושא ייבדק uses masculine singular ייבדק. הבקשה תיבדק uses feminine singular תיבדק. הפרטים ייבדקו uses the plural form ייבדקו. Learn these actual written forms of להיבדק together with their subject.

The Examiner

הבקשה תיבדק does not name the examiner. A passive clause may name an agent with על ידי. When this example leaves the agent unnamed, the sentence itself supplies only the request and its examination.

Common Mistakes

  • Keeping את before the affected passive subject.

    The request is the passive subject, so it does not take the object marker.
