Nif'al in the Future
Future נפעל forms include איכנס, I will enter, and תיכנסי, you will enter to one female listener. They differ from present נכנס.
How It Works
The Enter Family
In ordinary modern full spelling, learn איכנס, תיכנס, תיכנסי, ייכנס, תיכנס, ניכנס, תיכנסו and ייכנסו. Contemporary plural תיכנסו and ייכנסו can refer to female groups too. Pointed or older texts may omit a vowel letter that ordinary full spelling includes.
The Whole Written Form
איכנס and ייכנס are not interchangeable: the first refers to I and the second to he. אתה תיכנס and היא תיכנס share a form, so the subject or context distinguishes them. Do not mechanically attach a future prefix to present נכנס.
Meaning and Direction
להיכנס means enter; it is not necessarily passive. A destination can use ל, as in לחדר. Future ניכנס has an initial personal נ, while the past נכנס has the pattern’s initial נ. Root and pattern analysis must therefore use the actual family and spoken form.
