Exclamations with چه
A noun with an adjective takes the ending ـی: چه هوای خوبی!
How It Works

In the third pattern the noun comes first, then the adjective, and the ending ـی comes last. That ending is the same ـی that means a, as in کتابی. After a noun that ends in ا or و, the link is written ی before the adjective: چه هوای خوبی! (What lovely weather!)
Use چه خوب شد که for gladness: چه خوب شد که آمدی! (How good that you came!)
