Feminine Consonant Nouns
A final consonant does not guarantee masculine gender.
How It Works
Keep feminine agreement: duga noć and važna stvar. The genitive, dative and locative singular commonly end in -i: noći, stvari, kosti.
The accusative singular can look exactly like the nominative: Vidim kost. Plural forms include noći and stvari; dative, locative and instrumental plural include noćima and stvarima.
Some instrumental singular forms have alternatives or sound changes, such as kosti and košću. Learn attested forms rather than replacing every final consonant with one ending.

We are talking about important things.
Stvarima and važnim are locative plural.
