Proclisis before Finite Verbs
Weak pronouns normally precede finite indicative and subjunctive verbs.
How It Works
A finite verb marks person and tense. Its weak object or adverbial pronoun normally comes before it: el veig, ho faré, vull que hi vagis. Negation precedes the pronoun group: no el veig.
A subordinate clause has its own finite verb and its own pronoun position: espero que m'ho expliqueu. A preceding conjunction does not license enclisis. In a negated compound form, no ens n'hem oblidat places no before the complete cluster and the cluster before hem. Avoid attaching pronouns to the past participle simply because it carries the lexical meaning of the sentence.
