How It Works
These words do not change.
| Bosnian | English |
|---|---|
| danas | today |
| sutra | tomorrow |
| jučer | yesterday |
| sada | now |
| večeras | this evening |
| prekjučer | the day before yesterday |
| prekosutra | the day after tomorrow |
In Bosnia you will hear both jučer and juče for yesterday. This course uses jučer. Do not mix up sutra (tomorrow) with jutro (morning). They look alike, but they are different words.
At Level 1, we use the time words with the present: Sutra idem u Mostar. For yesterday, a short sentence with je bio is enough for now. The full past tense comes at Level 3.
